Bear flag revolt

In the 19th century, the world was turmoiled by a lot of revolts. One of these revolts was The Bear Flag Revolt. This event was caused by some American immigrants who had traveled to Mexico and started riots. They had brought a ton of alcohol and "drunk" everyone. They convinced locals that white people were mistreated and demanded retribution. Then people took over the estate and proclaimed California as an independent country.
